Hello! I’m Nelum Ramirez, a young artist working in watercolor, acrylic, and digital art forms. Currently, my business focuses on selling original paintings, custom commissions, and providing classes for those wishing to learn various artistic skills.
Positive growth
Since I was a child, I’ve always used art as a way to express my emotions and tell stories. Even before I could draw I would write short stories based on my dreams or life experiences. In high school I got into painting, using photoshop, and lino printing.
In college, I was surrounded by amazing wildlife that led to an interest in photography. Now, I primarily work in watercolors and acrylic paint to create hand-made cards and custom commissions. I am also well-versed in using pencil, ink, pastels, and gouache.
After college, I stayed in California and decided to pursue painting and teaching art as a full-time career!
When I got an iPad, I shifted to experimenting with digital art on Procreate. I do enjoy digital artwork because it gives me complete freedom to play, and I love painting/drawing for the tangible feeling it gives. My absolute favorite medium is watercolor.
