Hello! I’m Nelum Ramirez, a young artist currently working in watercolor, acrylic, and digital art forms.
Positive growth
Since I was a kid I’ve always used art as a way to express my emotions and tell stories. Even before I could draw I would write short stories based on my dreams or life experiences. In high school I got into painting, using photoshop, and lino printing.
In college, I was surrounded by amazing wildlife that fueled my passion for photography. Now I primarily work in watercolor and acrylic paint mediums to create hand-made cards and custom commissions. I am also well-versed in using pencil, ink, pastels, and gouache
After college, I stayed in California and decided to pursue art as a full-time career!
When I got an iPad, I shifted to experimenting with digital art on Procreate. I do enjoy digital art because it allows me to play with every color imaginable, and I love painting/drawing for the tangible feeling it gives. My absolute favorite medium is watercolor.
